안녕하세요?
우리 학교는 많은 분들의 소망과 도움으로 2023년 6월 10일에 문을 열었습니다.
집 가까이 한글학교가 있기를 희망하는 부모님들,
토요일 오후에 한글학교에서 친구들을 만나고 싶은 어린이들,
자신이 가진 모든 재능을 학생들을 위해 쓸 마음을 가진 선생님들,
그리고 기꺼이 장소를 내어주신 런던갈보리교회 여러분이 모여서 우리 학교가 만들어졌습니다.
우리 학교에는 다양한 배경의 학생들이 있습니다.
부모님이 한반도 남과 북에서 오셨고,
영국, 유럽과 아시아 여러 나라 엄마와 아빠도 계십니다.
우리는 출신과 배경, 조건에 상관없이 학생 하나 하나를 귀하게 여기는 학교를 만들어나가겠습니다.
우리 학생들은 모두 영국에 정착해서 살아갈 다음 세대입니다.
학생들이 서로를 존중하고 자기 자신을 사랑하도록 격려하겠습니다.
우리 말과 글을 잘 익히고 우리 문화를 소중히 여기고,
영국 사회에서 코리안으로서 자부심을 가지고 건강하게 살아가도록 돕겠습니다.

Welcome
Thanks to the hopes and support of many people, our school opened on 10 June 2023.
Parents wishing for a Korean school close to home,
children eager to meet Korean friends on Saturdays afternoons,
teachers ready to share all their talents for their students,
and the members of London Calvary Church, who generously provided a space
all came together to make this school possible.
Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Their parents came from the Northern and Southern parts of Korea,
and many others from different countries across Europe, Asia and beyond.
Regardless of origin, background, or circumstances,
we are committed to valuing each student as they are.
Our students are the next generation living in the UK.
We encourage them to respect one another and love themselves,
to learn the Korean language and appreciate our culture,
and to grow with dignity as Koreans while thriving in British society.
